We've never had more clout than in 2020 when were carrying the country on our shoulders. We had a strike mandate then but threw it away so the public wouldn't say mean things about us for striking during a crisis. We banked that goodwill only to find out it's worth nothing.

The union have been completely useless in this dispute.

They have never had a clue what their members wanted.

They should’ve known there would be job losses and they should’ve been negotiating good vr packages for the massive amount of people that would’ve taken it.

Later starts managed over a period of time.

Saturday letters were always going to go so they should’ve been at the front of coming up with shift patterns that their members want.

Commit to deliver was a non starter and I’m not all that sure it would’ve been entirely legal with how some managers would’ve used it.

Even annualised hours could’ve been done in a much simpler way.

Up and down the land workers from Bakers, bus drivers, dockers and bin men have all won double figure pay rises, they've done it with prolonged industrial action not the pointless one day strikes we've embarked on, there needs to be an inquest once this dispute is finished and those in leadership roles need to be held to account.

We were never that important. Delivering test kits every day to people who never left the house. We were also Delivering alcohol, shoes and clothing to people spending their furlough money as they had nothing else to do sitting at home all day bored
