Unless you have another job lined up or don’t need to work, you might want to consider, unemployment is forecast to double next year.

The jobs shite now and only going to get shitter.. Minimum wage was 50% of a posties wage when I started, minimum wage is now about 80% of a posties wage, say no more. I'm 37 and I'd take voluntary redundancy in a heart beat to get out of this s**t show! More to life than royal mail. Shame I've got no chance of being accepted though

Sometimes in these situations it's possible to get a quote. That is to say, finding out exactly what you'd get, then making a decision based on that.
Any info on this?
you can check on the app without proceeding
Where abouts on the app?
Yeah whereabouts on the app?

I have gone on the app but can't see it so how do we find out how much we will get?

Agreed mate. Plus minimum wage going up about 10% with inflation, our wages aren't. Benefits going up 10% with inflation too with a £900 handout next year. Do a bit of cash in hand too. Royal fail job is indeed getting shitter, its just becoming not worth it anymore

9mths pay and a £6k one off payment depending on age, length of service and applying within a week
The only thing length of service has to do with it as I understand is if you'll get it or not. All who do will get 9 mnths basic pensionable pay X 39 weeks. Plus 6k is pro rata.

Nope, there's a sliding scale just like the previous redundancy package, 39 weeks is the max.
