Calling racist people racist isn't an "argument" of any kind. It's just true.

How many illegals should we take in?
You betray your agenda with your vocabulary.
Mass immigration. Illegals. Swamped.
You don't like immigrants. Fine. Just say so.
I will tell you something for free Silly Milly - we don't like you.
I would appreciate it if you could tell how we fund them rather than being triggered by my vocabulary.
Being overly emotional won't pay for their board and lodgings.
How do we pay for your board and lodgings?
You don't, I pay my own way :thumbup .
Now theres a clever solution 💡
Hard work, self reliance and taking personal responsibility is something we should all aspire to.
Do you think that immigrants are lacking in those qualities?
No but there certainly not paying for there board and lodgings me and you are.
Do you not think they would like to pay their own way?
Thats the whole point there not.
They are housed while their claims are processed, then they are sent on their way or returned. They can then work to feed their families and contribute to society and pay back this financial help, via taxation.

We need to get away from this distraction being tossed out by the current incompetent chimps running the country. THEY are responsible for this mess, not people risking their lives to come to an island that has a majority of people who are openly in fear of them.

They want to distract you from the real monsters in this country, which is why they scapegoat the nearest brown person they can find and blame him/her for all your problems.
Any chance of answering how we fund them considering we have to find £1.2 trillion to pay for our unfunded Pension liabilities.
It really is boring listening to someone virtue signalling when our Country is drowning in debt.
Open borders or a Welfare state, you can't have both.
I’ve told you how already. Tax the rich more. You’ve not answered my question from before - what is your solution to preventing desperate people from seeking sanctuary here? Gunning down man woman and child in the channel? It’s either that or having a welfare state apparently.

Could you possibly tell me how we can drive Workers wages up when mass immigration suppresses wage growth?
The thing is, there is some evidence that at the low end, free movement of labour does suppress wages, these are mostly jobs that the UK population doesn't want to do, as such there is a labour shortage in those positions. Increased labour costs for food production for example, that just makes buying food more expensive. But the problem is, there are major labour shortages, which simply weakens output and the economy. A weaker economy, means a lower pound, increased import costs, less tax revenue, and as we're about to see, more austerity and yet another recession. Good luck getting a decent payrise during a recession.

It's worth mentioning, in skilled and professional jobs, where individual bargaining and competition comes into play, immigration has next to no impact on wages.

I get that immigration is an issue people feel strongly about. But, the truth of the matter is in our current economic model, we are strongly reliant on immigrant workers, especially with an ageing UK workforce.

So for the people with the anti-immigrant stance saying how can we afford all these immigrants. As you'll see in the coming months, the UK economy can't afford not to have fairly high levels of immigration.

So British people can turn down jobs that are beneath them and leave those jobs to immigrants.
I wonder why they can't fill these jobs with British people?

Well, we have record low unemployment (3.5%). But, also, fewer economically active people than before the pandemic. So, that's clearly an indication that there are jobs for those that want to work, and people are taking them. But it also points to a labour shortage. There's over 1.2 million unfilled vacancies currently in the UK. So there are more vacancies than unemployed people looking for work.
Britain is trailing behind almost all rich nations in its post-COVID labour market recovery and is on track to become the only major developed country with employment below pre-pandemic levels at the start of 2023
A combination of factors including a rise in people taking early retirement, long-term illness and lower migration are depleting Britain’s workforce, according to the Institute for Employment Studies (IES).

Britain had 600,000 more people who were not participating in the jobs market compared to 2019. That is despite unemployment shrinking to the lowest in nearly 50 years.
So yeah, the UK economy is being hampered by labour shortages. That's pretty clear.

I wonder who was in charge of that?

You know where. The Daily Mail.

Here are a few ideas as to how to fill the black hole in this countries finances.

1) Council Tax reform - Revalue houses and adjust them accordingly. Have people living in mansions contribute more than they do now, and those living in small houses less. The current system is outdated and as most things in this country do, favours the rich.

2) A one off wealth tax for people who are sitting on millions of pounds of money that doesn’t feed into the economy.

3) Close all tax loopholes.

4) NI payments on pensions, rent payments to landlords and all income. Working people are being unfairly burdened.

A few ideas that don’t even touch on the more ‘outlandish’ ones such as repairing EU trade by joining the free market again, which we all know is the main reason we are heading for more austerity in this country, not because of the scary brown people.

The EU is finished, Germany is currently destroying it's industrial base due to the crazy sanctions and the Dutch are closing down Farms to comply with bonkers climate change policies.

As there are far fewer "mansions" to pay more than there are "small houses" who will pay less then that's an instant drop in gov't/council income, so yet another black hole to fill.
2) A one off wealth tax for people who are sitting on millions of pounds of money that doesn’t feed into the economy.
If some have got "£millions" being sat on then there's a good chance that those same people will either move their money and/or themselves abroad somewhere. Harold Wilson tried that back in the 1960s and it as a failure then too.
3) Close all tax loopholes.
As easy as that eh? Stalinistic in it's simplicity.
4) NI payments on pensions, rent payments to landlords and all income. Working people are being unfairly burdened.
Pensioners aren't paid enough now, yet you propose further decreasing their income? Those same working people will then have to pay for various social security top-ups for the pensioners who will then dip under the financial safety net. Where have you been reading all this nonsense, some socialist workers rag or something?
A few ideas that don’t even touch on the more ‘outlandish’ ones such as repairing EU trade by joining the free market again, which we all know is the main reason we are heading for more austerity in this country, not because of the scary brown people.

The EU don't want or won't allow the UK to be in their single market anymore, or did you miss that bit?

It's interesting that Lou Barlow criticises the Tories for austerity when his beloved European Union imposed even harsher austerity on the Greeks which caused great hardship for Greek pensioners.
Not to mention their role in stealing money from Cypriot savers with the Bank bail in.

It’s interesting that you haven’t even attempted to explain how brown people coming here are somehow responsible for the fiscal mess this country is in. I noticed you also failed to answer the question as to whether you wanted the white Ukrainians sent back as well.

Funny that.
