Orpington based Postie

Post by brothermagrew »

In this months Courier edition an Orpington based postie likes the fact that he is his own boss - no arguments there. He can do his walk the way he wants to do it - no real arguments there either. He either runs which in his words he does most of the time to get it finished or he just plods although sometimes he jogs as it is a way of keeping in shape.

With colleagues like him no wonder the jobs going downhill fast. Where do RM find these people from?

Probably from the 'extras' crew of eastenders! Surely they can't be real posties :Very Happy

I enjoyed 'Life On Mars' last year.
I watched 'Ashes To Ashes' tonight.

They are RM staff but RM are very selective who they chose to be photographed for glory .

Seen some classic ones in Central Lancs , a LA on his "round " being "quoted with " all this rubbish about Bonuses in a Asda Car Park . They just found a Stormproof for him .

We'd a VIP who was the biggest professional scivver and claimer in the building until her Road to Damascus Conversion after the boss chased her back to work being quoted in a propaganda pamplet . Very fond of crossing picket lines too !

Another one had 12-16 people photographed doing 1-2 peoples work . "Coincidentally " many were true blue tories , non -members etc .

The wooden looking pictures make me laugh in that comic , I thought that style of photography had gone out many decades before .

RM must think we fell out of a tree , but it keeps people in non-jobs .
