2022 DISPUTE RELATING TO CWU PAY CLAIM FOR CWU REPRESENTED GRADES EMPLOYED BY ROYAL MAIL GROUP, CONSISTING OF ROYAL MAIL, PARCELFORCE AND FLEET

The CWU’s Postal Executive met today, Friday 28th October 2022 and have determined there is a need for further strike action, which we have notified the company of. The strike will cover:

All duties and scheduled attendance commencing between the period at or after 04:00 on Saturday 12th November 2022 and before 04:00 on Sunday 13th November 2022. The industrial action will be discontinuous.
Any enquiries in relation to the content of this LTB should be addressed to the DGS(P) Department.

Clearly the Acas stuff this week hasn’t helped, bet RM are just saying all the same stuff just via a middle man. Honestly don’t see how Acas solves this. Guess we are going all the way in the run up to Christmas come what may. I think Royal Mail will win anyway but we might aswell go down fighting. And a sadistic side of me is going to enjoy watching the whole place fall to s**t with these rolling strikes starting next week. Won’t pay my mortgage or feed my kids but it will be a laugh all the same.

Maybe they have decided to go all out on mon 14th nov (not just network) for maximum impact or…..got wind of some kind of “lock out” plan from the company?

very very confusing to say the least cos ive just received a txt saying there has been a 2 yr deal put forward and the union were expecting to seal it all today but ran out of time, but is expected to finalise it on Monday.

Hope your info is correct but I think it's logical to stick to your plan until everything is signed and sealed, action can be called off if a deal is reached.
