5 day letter USO

I can see it happening, monday to saturday with every tuesday off. Nobody ever said 5 day letter delivery would be mon - fri. Tuesday very light on letters. Saturday 3rd heaviest day of the week in our office.

Simon Thompson has said they want letters Monday to Friday and 7 days parcels. The cwu used to come out with this dropping letters on a Tuesday whenever Monday to Friday was mentioned. It was rubbish then and is now. I deliver to nearly 200 firm's Monday to Friday, 6 on Saturday and I don't deliver In city centre. Do you think all the businesses would accept 4 days of deliveries without uproar? Dropping letters on any other day than Saturday was never going to happen despite cwu reps pushing that narrative whenever dropping a day was mentioned

They already do 5 day in our office most floats never replaced and on days off they just leave mail in the frame

Monday to Friday - letters + parcels.

Saturday + Sunday - parcels only.

Get current permanent staff to work Mon to Fri.

Recruit a weekend workforce to work Saturday and Sunday.
