Your not alone, I don't remember seeing a full copy of the agreement in with the voting slip. I printed off 5 copies of the agreement when it was put on this website and passed them round at work.Poshpost wrote:Lovejoy, as far as I know everyone in my office received a ballot paper and those that revealed their intention said they voted no. I can confirm that those that I spoke to about the agreement did not have sight of the full agreement and were less than happy about the fact. And just to compound matters I was speaking to our Rep last week and it became clear during our conversation that he was not aware of the details contained in the full agreement. I asked him if he had seen / read the full agreement and he said no. Just as footnote, and I would guess as a result of what I have just related, our office is still starting at 06:15 hours on a Saturday. If the first and perhaps most basic part of the agreement cannot be implemented in my office I don't hold out much hope for anything thing else to be agreed at a local level. Hope the above won't sound like a rant because that is not the intention, it's just the way it is.

Sorry mate every CWU member got a full copy of the agreement. I suggest if your think yor office didn't then you should contact your branch secretary. The agreement was with the ballot paper!! So if you didn't get the agreement then you didn't get the ballot paper?????
But I know we did NOT get a full copy of the agreement with the voting paper just bullet points, anyway I know now and thats the great thing about this site

Poshpost i obviously can't speak for you but i know all members in my area got the full agreement....... In addition to this all branches had copies sent to them, it was on the CWU website and generally in wide circulation. I suggest that if your REP never got a copy then there are some serious issues in your branch!!!Fluke wrote:Your not alone, I don't remember seeing a full copy of the agreement in with the voting slip. The only copies my office had were the ones I printed off and distributed myself

I obviously put him straight!
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

If push comes to shove the members will happily knock back 1.5% and £400 if they feel they are being rushed/ cajoled /threatened into situations we dont want.
My area recommendation was a 'no' but we have it and we need to make the best of it. That means NO agreement on so called 'summer staffing' or 6 into 5 until proper trials are conducted within your postcode. NO longer deliveries -3and a half hours still stands, and no agreements on collapsing of duties without guidance from your area/div reps.
Lets instead push our agenda - 4 day weeks, 9 day fortnights etc etc.
