Given that the threat of redundancy was like water of a ducks back to most of us does he really think threatening to nowwithhold the Xmas bonus will worry most of us? How petty can he get, first it was no more new vans/uniform, then the threat of redundancy, now no bonus, it's pretty obvious like Truss he's totally of his depth, just a pity we don't have a Jeremy Hunt lined up to rectify all his proposed changes.

Simon's posts and rants are just like Donald Trump's after the US election. They indicate a man who is in denial about the damage he is doing to the company whilst blaming the workers for all the problems. His comments are also very child like. What CEO of a multi billion pound company threatens staff with taking away a piddling little bonus. I cannot believe the rest of the board will just sit there and watch this man making more and more absurd statements. He'll soon be saying that the union ballot results are fake and only 2 people voted for strike action and they are both non members.

ST's now stated on Workplace that he's no going to post anything further on there until Friday, so it looks like Thursday strike will go ahead without any genuine attempts to avoid it.

Not much of a loss anyway. In my old job we got an extra week's pay and a boozy lunch. As someone said earlier we'll get more on the rounds than we get from the bonus (£68 after taxation). December strikes will bring this guy down.
