On a personal level, I now no longer care. I don’t care if my actions lead to the destruction of RM, I don’t care if my actions lead to redundancy and unemployment. I don’t care if our actions ruin Christmas for millions of people. Imagine that, I’ve turned into a left wing version of Simon Thomson and I don’t even care about that

They guys mentally ill. I'm not saying that to be funny or make light of an illness but there is obviously something wrong with this guy. Perhaps a childhood issue or he may have been attacked as an adult or whatever but whatever the reason he's simply not a well man.

He has the traits of a psychopath or sociopath. But then so do most people at the top - that’s how they got there.

Posties now don't care about going above and beyond anymore. They don't care about bringing back mail. They don't care to rush around anymore.

Simon wants us to work like slaves being whipped with a long leather stick.... instead he's demotivated the workforce who were going the extra mile for him, now they will not. Treating your workforce like dirt doesn't work.

But the Board members seem to be happy with Thompson running this company into the ground. I haven’t heard a pep out of them . Maybe it’s time for them all to step aside and let people who actually gives a damn about this company to take over.

This is all part of a wider strategy.

Disempower the union. Get them to strike. Make the company and USO look unworkable.

Sell GLS off (that's what the Czech investor wants).

Ramp up levels of automation, and reduce staffing levels.

They have obviously decided to cause turmoil to the share price in the short term for long term gain.
