I've always used timed meet bags on most walks I've been on,your on a walk with about six pouches say,I've always found it averages out about 30 mins per bag.I'll use drops on a new walk if there safe but if not I refuse to use them and make them meet me.Its how the job was done when I first started but was slowly diminished by us posties chasing the early finish and sniffing out bag drops because its quicker.Only thing is its meant the governers have been able to cut driving duties. In the near future if we finish early we're gonna get more work to do,so why not go back to doing the job properly. Its not YOUR problem if they cant get your bags to you on time its THEIRSLounge Lizard wrote: "Timed meet bags" - how is that going to work ? Can any of us predict realistically what time we're going to get to a particular point on our walk ? And is Royal Mail going to buy us all watches ?
