The proposed changes will need fighting off indefinitely, because everything has changed in the world.
Pretty sure annualised hours will be here within a couple of years.
Sick pay will be affected, a compromise will be agreed, but the 6 months full sick pay will go for certain.
Sunday working, one in 5 or 6.
They'll nudge us forward an hour later on the start times, then one more hour the next year.
Pay rise 7.5% to 8% (trumpeted as being the biggest pay offer ever, but leading to us actually being worse off) dependent on us accepting the inevitable.
Oh, and a new fangled bulls*it mandate for change, which as we know are not only mind numbingly depressing, but are also a waste of fkin breath.

Re: money or terms
I think pay is secondary to most people because the amount that we are going to actually get will be well below the cost if living anyway. Unfortunately we won't be getting the £1,000 bonus that the managers are getting for not going off sick.
Most of us don't want to work on a Sunday or move from family friendly hours, I don't have children but don't want to work in the dark in the winter and then have to drive home in the rush hour.
Some if the areas that we work in are really rough - during the pandemic a female Amazon driver got punched and knocked down and her van stolen on the run up to Christmas and one of my colleagues got shot with an air rifle.
My own round is one of the furthest from the depot along a major A road leading to a motorway so you can imagine the traffic plus you can actually wait 10 minutes at the traffic lights because of traffic.

It riled you up though funnily enough, which shows a lot about which side of the coin you sit on.

Terms.. I have caring responsibilities for my elderly in laws whilst my wife is at work on sundays. Am I supposed to leave them without care so I can deliver a new frying pan and some door to doors to Doris at number 10.
