It's a bit early, isn't it?
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

All this proves is that unless Simon gets overruled, he will keep on ploughing ahead with his plan. He doesn't seem at all fazed by the looming strike's. He just keeps doubling down.
And this makes me think that it’s not just Simon’s plan but also the plan of those that could overrule him.
True & did think that myself. It's obvious he must have people in agreement & he most likely is just a puppet, who knows.
The being overruled scenario is looking very unlikely. We can only hope that they don't get a clean sweep for every change they want.

What happened to the update from the union in terms of what they have put forward to Royal mail and what Royal mail have offered us feels like we are in the dark yet again a regular update would be good seen as we are losing money when strike feel like a sitting duck
We still seem to be waiting for the letter, hopefully, it'll finally be produced tomorrow.

Before everybody starts pissin there pants this was always on the cards. GLS is the big money maker at the moment so Royal Mail say and seeing how they operate then you can see why the union are putting up a fight. They are basically run on the same model as Hermes / amazon you deliver or don’t get paid With very little t&c,s. So basically Royal Mail will be a loss making company they will tell ofcom/ gov that it’s now unaffordable to continue with uso.

I'm not well read up on split up but wouldn't losing the uso be a negative for shareholders or is the uso holding them back from something?

If we go on strike during Christmas the pressure will really be on him. The union should announce more strike dates for December .
