Its cringeworthy blaming everything on Brexit especially while the whole EU is crashing.
The EU is a good idea in principle. In practice it is coming apart at the seams. Political correctness is driving up costs and forcing voters towards extremist Parties. The German health minister has just proposed banning cigarette smoking in cars as it is bad for other occupants health. This will pi55 off more voters who will reluctantly vote for the AFD. The AFD and similar parties are less likely to readily engage with the eurocrats in Brussels.
Also without a common tax policy a single currency will periodically be in existential crisis. At some point the crisis won't be overcome by kicking the can down the street (Greece).

So if someone voted No, then I take it they’ve left the CWU?
Why would they?

Really?
A Labour party (under Corbyn) with party membership boosted by students and metro intellectuals, but ditched by traditional Labour party voters in their many thousands when it came to election time?
A party led by such heady intellectuals as MacDonnell, Abbott and the vile Thornberry?
A party where anti-Semites (at all levels) weren't castigated, exposed or expelled?
A bunch so truly inept and awful that they made the idiot Johnson look a viable alternative?
"Left Wing"? No, just useless under the old snaggle-toothed dribbler Corbyn, although to be fair they're still useless under the waxwork dummy Starmer.
Couldn't have put it better myself. Bravo :Applause
The Concervatives have not been great, but god help us when Labour get in.
The Conservatives have not been great? Understatement of the century right there. They have decimated this country for generations to come.

That tends to happen when the people want sovereignty but wouldn't say extremist Parties just nationalist.

I am confused Lou, you make out to be some sort of left leaning Corbynite, yet look on another thread and you appear to be a right wing surrender monkey who's prepared to give up all their hard fought t&c's for a few sheckles more.
Please let us know where you really stand.
Or are you just a s**t stirrer.

You are certainly perpetually confused scotchy. To clarify, I am in no way leaning, I am staunchly left-wing and pro union, which is why I am supporting the CWU in voting for this deal, to secure all of our jobs in a dying industry.

I am not a fan of the current Labour Party as they offer nothing in the way of left-wing policies I can support. They are anti-Europe, anti-Immigration, against equal LGBTQIA+ rights, offer no viable NHS system going forward, refuse to commit to free education and further education qualifications. I don’t think Kier Starmer has any policy that would lead me to vote for him, but I will because they are the lesser of two evils right now.

Hope that helps.

LGBTQIA+
What does this actually mean?
I know quite a few gay men and women and they are embarrassed by this. They also find it amusing at the men/women who don't know what gender they are.

Oh, they know what gender they are. It seems that everyone else has a problem with them identifying as they want to. That is where the real issue is, and being gay doesn’t make you any less of an asshole if you find that amusing.

Read what I said.
You cannot identify what you want to be. You are only Man/Woman.

I have and responded in kind. If an abbreviation makes you uncomfortable, I don’t know what to say really, but it covers all the bases, so I used it. As I said, being gay doesn’t make you suddenly exempt from being an ass if you have a problem with people identifying how they wish.

You cannot identify as you wish. If you have a cock you're a Man. If you have a vagina, you're a Woman. There are a lot of gay Men/Women who disagree with your thinking.
