I got paid my bonus and the incentive underpin. Unfortunately, they decided not to pay the FT wallington week 37 hours. Just 5 hours...what's going on with this shithole of a job?

One of my Favourite Charities is Crisis. I normally fund a couple of places at Christmas as I can't think of anything more soul destroying (not even working for Royal Mail) than being Homeless at Christmas when every other buggers spending money like it's going out fashion, and stuffing their faces with overpriced crap.

It was bad enough "When we used to" work right up until Christmas Eve and everyone else had been knocked off for a week. I know we've all been losing money, and some us may be having it tough, but enjoy the best Christmas Break that most of us have ever had at Christmas!

I’m not sure which is more strange, that you would turn down money that you have been accepting for however many years you have been doing the job, or that you didn’t expect the bonus to be deducted because you haven’t worked all of December. If you had any principles, you would also turn down your weekly wage, during a strike week using your own logic.

£200 to him is like £0.02 to us.


Luckily there's other ways to get rich these days.... can easily make a lot of money online with a side hustle or through investing. You don't need to be grafting your butt off for Thompson, doing overtime....there are other opportunities out there.

None of the money comes from the CWU.
It is a CWU negotiated incentive bonus.
You're not the first (or last) to think this but the idea that the union could afford to pay out that kind of money is unfortunately crazy.

Parcel force staff not getting the Xmas bonus and hours being cut in January. This bastard is just going ahead with what he wants irregardless of the strikes or union talks.

Strike days taken only in December so far are taken off one of the bonusses at 3% per day. So 3 days (9%) so far. So for FT £100 and £91. Don't know if they are going to take more off it in next week and the week after pay to reflect the other 4 days between today and Christmas? That would be another £12, provided you weren't on rest days on strike days.
