Re: What are the strike dates now?
Rose tinted glasses off, as a workforce we collectively put in 300000+ a week, we deserve better than being out manoeuvred at every turn.BigSacks wrote: ↑30 Oct 2022, 17:16
But also that they are not “fine” with strikes going ahead and mail not being delivered.
This is also a positive thing.
I’d also suggest that people should maybe take a step back and realise that these things will always have to-ing and fro-ing and that those wanting a team of Philadelphia lawyers to make sure everything is 100% watertight 100% of the time may want to be a bit more realistic in their expectations of what they get for 4 quid a week.

Re: What are the strike dates now?
the fact is this has happened because the union are negotiating with one hand tied behind there back, peopie going threw picket lines, people doing extra work to clear backlogs rolling one day strikes so people dont loose too much money for petes sake either all go back to work and take whats coming or dont go to work until royal mail offer a fair deal.

When you put it like that, it's a lot of money for a second rate job.heraldmoth wrote: ↑30 Oct 2022, 17:33Rose tinted glasses off, as a workforce we collectively put in 300000+ a week, we deserve better than being out manoeuvred at every turn.BigSacks wrote: ↑30 Oct 2022, 17:16

You’ve posted a wildly speculative article from the World socialist worker ffs.
So should we get strike pay?
A years dues with zero outgoings would give us about 2 and a half days pay back each.
Terrific.
Forum is rapidly becoming a haven for unrealistic moaners with a loose grasp on reality. And managers.
Getting beyond a joke to be honest.
You don’t need to find a way of manipulating a narrative in order to salve your conscience in crossing the picket line.
Just do it.

Re: What are the strike dates now?
Week strike covering Black Friday. No overtime so backlog not cleared. Another week's strike week before Xmas. We must be definite and no more half hearted actions. But we must not shoot ourselves in the foot by clearing backlogs.

Nothing to do with that. Look at yesterday’s red lines post it’s laughable this needs a mass walkout not pussy footing around while most of us look for other employment.. and accusing anyone not on your left wing narrative of being coercive is stifling free speech
