The only reason RM wanted a deal agreed was so they could break it! Now they'll argue with the CWU and before you know it no more bung money! :arrrghhh

Someone needs to take RM to tribunal on this - it’s not on and I’m certain the tribunal would rule against RM no this.

This could also be an important first step towards contesting the agreement/ballot on the basis that it’s not been upheld / key information about the proposed changes and the impacts of them were not provided beforehand.

Love the fact you now get to discuss it informally ie no Union Representative allowed to be present
Where does it say no union rep allowed?

We were told the complete opposite by our area rep when he was trying to sell us this joke of an agreement, so maybe something else Royal Mail have moved the goalposts on already.

Exactly, if these types of things keep cropping without any pushback from the CWU, and I mean immediate pushback, not after weeks of tea and biscuits, then the CWU is pointless

How can they stop a willing union rep being present at ANY workplace discussion with your manager if you request it - whether the manager considers it informal or not?
If you tolerate this, then your paid break will be next

Ok genius how else would they get away with getting everything they wanted and get out of paying for it?

Do you actually actually think about the drivel in your head before posting it... enquiring minds need to know? :cuppa
Union what Union? Do we have a union?

They could have gotten everything they wanted without a deal. Hope this helps your enquiring mind.

It says no representation at a welcome back meeting. Who takes their union rep into a welcome back meeting anyway? Not read anything that says you can’t have representation at an attendance review.
