Basically it’s either the £500 version or the £1500 one.The other bits won’t have changed
Surely they would have had to move on pay, sick pay, seasonal hours, new starters, and start times from the last offer to be even considered good enough?

The briefing on Friday doesn't stop them telling us if they have endorsed or rejected the negotiators agreement.
I think it is rude that someone hasn't leaked the agreement.
Them days are gone-they work for the dark side now.
They will endorse their negotiators deal regardless
As they don’t have a clue themselves
It will be up to us the members to tell them to ram it
This 100%
And they deserve a big emphatic No to show that their members and employees find the leadership within the CWU and RM incompetent. I think if it gets rejected by the members, it sends a very powerful message I.e. we are the union

It will be the 1500 as they know it is more likely to be voted through.

While I'd like to think a bad deal would get rejected, the sense I get in my office is that lots of staff just want some money now. These are people who were strong for striking pre-Christmas. Some of them are already talking about how they might spend £1500. I despair really.

the people who accept this deal cause of the lump sum will lose the right to moan in 2 years time when RM want a new agreement with further changes

if the union tell us to vote yes then its yes. If they tell us to strike we strike thats what we pay them for and obviously they think its the best deal they can get even if it will be s**t. But not as s**t as it could have been 12 months ago

Loads of posties are completey disillusioned with this train wreck of a company & have had just short of 12-months to conjure up some sort of exit plan. Whether that be employment elsewhere or further education,or a mixture of the two. Add to this the folks who are nearing retirement & I feel many will vote YES with a view to jumping ship sooner rather than later….

“Shorts,in this weather?!”

“If they’re bills I don’t want ‘em!”

“What’s she been ordering now?”

I’ve been asked by 3 colleagues this week already if I know when the money will reach our bank accounts. They seemed to glaze over when I said we need to 1. Be told the deal and 2. Need to vote it in.

I know a lot of people are struggling financially but I just find it sad.
The day is gonna come when we’re all gonna have to testify.

Still the delusions of people here is astonishing. What do you think happens if we reject this offer ?
We have witnessed executive action after executive action. You think that stops if we reject the offer. You think striking in summer will have more of a impact than Christmas
Open your eyes. The Union know this

No Grads.

The proposed deal is your deal.

If you like the deal then accept it.
If your not happy with the deal then reject it.

Don't just do what the Union suggests, make up your own mind and do it for yourself :so there

No one is getting £1500 after tax and insurance you will be lucky if it’s £900 in your pouch
See the big picture people

It is a sinking ship. A lot of people just want the lump sum before going. We have had 4 leave this week already, mainly new starters admittedly, but it is a done deal at this point.

That is the theme at our office, if they actually leave or not is another story
