After all these years I’m ready to fight to the death and I’m convinced now that I’ll be in a new job in 2023 anyway. Nothing is worse than this mental torture. I’ve seen about a dozen long time staff leave my office in the last few months. There’s lots of uncovered walks. No staff and no one in this town wants this low paid over worked job. We also voted democratically for a no strings payrise why have the union now agreed for a payrise an change deal. tell me please what was the point of the second ballot on change.

What a tragic bully he is, negotiation is a co-operative process, done equitably, it takes most if not all of the workforce along with him in the process.

WE WILL NOT BE BULLIED THOMPSON, engage in meaningful talks and give us a fair deal. If not, the goodwill of your workforce will evaporate quicker than the annual leave weeks in August and the resultant consequences will be of your making and yours alone.

CWU had no choice when Thompson began playing games, i mean graciously awarded us a 2% payrise from the bottom of his heart to help us out with the cost of living crisis . That turned the dispute in to the separate pay and change palaver.
