Can argue all day an all night long over this issue but at end of day people will not be able to struggle through much more esp pts. have a few husbands an wifes in our mc with kids an there staying strong aswell. Royal Mail have been doing this since before the 2001 way forward agreement we every so often have these disputes we have mitigated theses actions now is not the time for capitulation. I welcome your post on here we all can agree that most sensible CEO's and CFO's and Chairman of any business would agree nominal change at this time. But this is not a sensible business this whole organisation has a whiff corruption at the top and who gains the most well I just gave their titles google them. The fact remains it is us or them well simple question we fight till there is nothing left if it comes to that!

If people are not willing to fight then they can have no complaints ( to the CWU because there won’t be one) when they are working Sunday as a normal day or finishing delivery at 19:00. Ask the Nottingham and Mansfield miners where strike breaking got them??

Some bus, dockers and council workers are taking 8,9,10 day I/A continuously, some are winning and some are ongoing, what I find disappointing is that some Postal workers are ‘scared’ of taking more than a day here and there.

I’ll strike as until we get an acceptable agreement, if we lose and go back to work without one, I’ll be able to hold my head high and have myself self respect knowing I didn’t strike break.

It is hard for those with young kids and big mortgages or rents I know as some one that’s been here 38 years and never worked a strike day. Hopefully leaving the shitshow in the next 6-12 months but will continue fighting for those left.
