What would take to get everyone voting?. Peoples apathy is unbelievable.
Sending a ballot to everyone- never got mine and loads on cwu fb say the same thing, makes you wonder if the ballots legal.
I don’t believe 20% didn’t get a paper that’s nonsense
Our place has been taking all the mail out and bringing it back, to be put in again and brought back again and so on.
We are no different to all the customers that are not getting regular mail. However even we have no ballot papers left in.

Great result but we need to name a strike date as soon as possible now, so that RMG can play all the usual legal tricks to try and stop it. They will seek to find any loophole to invalidate the ballot, so we need to test its validity now! There would then be time to re-ballot should the biased courts find in their favour like the last time.

We are serving notice on the second industrial action ballot tomorrow and ballot papers will be sent out in 8 days.

There is a risk if we take strike action during the ballot so the earliest we can give the 2 weeks legal notice of strike is 3rd August which means that the strike action takes place after the second ballot closes.

This therefore gives the company 14 days to agree a deal or there will be strike action announced.

lets hope some strong negotiations take place over the next month especially with terms and conditions but hold back on action until end of aug as the mail starts to ramp up then pointless taking action in the next 5 or 6 weeks

According to Wikipedia the CEO's birthday is in August, that would be the perfect day to strike. Happy Birthday Mr Thompson.

After what all the key workers went through (posties included) during the pandemic which included not knowing whether this virus would kill us or not during our working day (I for one was worried on a daily basis for my health I have to admit it) which probably didn’t do peoples mental health any good, how dare they slap us in the face with a pathetic pay rise!! I bet all the ‘bigwigs’ were happily at home protecting themselves whilst we put our lives on the line……….we should get the pay rise we all deserve 👍👍

It's weird with the RM share price, I'd expected it to have dropped a lot with a strike being voted for, yet it's actually gone up

It's their job to watch the markets and act on any announcements asap, that's how they make money. I think the markets were up today which probably explains the small rise for RM
