Though thanks for referencing "Godwins Law" we haven't had that in a while.
It's not Godwin's Law when it's used as a response to perceived overzealous moderation / censorship, to be fair.

The Nazi comparison/analogy, has to naturally occur as part of the discussion.

I haven't seen the offending posts but I have been on here long enough to know that a throw-away comment that actually breaks the rules can very easily make things kick-off on here and completely throw threads off track.

The rules are there for a reason, and they have regularly been updated on here when various 'kick-offs' have happened and we put them in place to stop more 'kick-offs'.
When you registered you had to click on the 'I have read the rules' button, now if couldn't be arsed to read them and you kinda lied or skipped through them, then when you get pulled up for breaking said rules then you can have no complaints yes?

We are very lax on here, very lax.
PS: He'll be back....they always come back.
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

ok having read a few posts on this subject and no I`m not going to mention the war( sorry just did) royal mail do offer (small bottles of hand sanitizer) gloves and masks if they have masks . and yes you are right the 2m rule needs to be tighten up . I normally stop and make a stop motion with my hands to anyone moving towards me which works . or just shout stop. or maybe managers should sort this issue out . or we all walk out . and a point you all missed how do you distance from the general public on delivery when they are rushing down the road towards you and your pushing a htc.

I suppose you could "Put" your HCT (Obviously in a Non-Aggressive Way) towards the offender, with your arms out stretched that must be about 2m. :hmmmm Shouting "Please keep your Distance", or words to that effect. Went shopping recently and politely distanced myself the required 2m behind a young women who was dawdling along the veg aisle .... When she got to the end she simply turned around and walked right past me! I said "FFS"! Which drew her attention to HER breach of social distancing .... although I'm NOT suggesting you should use such language Steve. :cuppa
