Ok so I regularly order items from Netherlands, Germany and France. When the item is tracked it shows as "arrived at Langley" which is in heathrow.
does this mean the packet has been delivered via air to Heathrow airport or can it also be that it has been transported via channel tunnel and then dropped at Heathrow to go through boarder checks?
I am expecting a parcel from Netherlands, its not left their yet but expect it will ship soon. in the past tracking shows as arriving at Langley, clearing customs at Heathrow then on with its journey.
So does this mean it will come via air and bypass the chaos with the channel tunnel which is happening at the moment!?

It would depend largely on what is inside the parcel, and what service was used by the sender. However as far as I am aware HWDC is the international hub for all post so it probably goes through there no matter if its Air or Surface. With the brief closure of the border even Air items will have been delayed and will have caused knock on delays.
