Where is my parcel?

I was sent a parcel from malta on 12th November. Normally i receive the parcel within 3 days. My tracking is still saying left originating country/handed over to Airline 9:28PM Thursday 12th November. Is there any delays at Heathrow WDC? When can i expect an update on the tracking? I know there is a shortage of staff in my area as not had any post for a week, but is there a chance it is in fact in the uk and not been scanned? Thanks

Yes, Most the delays are currently in Customs and its impacting HWDC quite hard.

Update: 19 November 2020
Malta Post has advised, due to COVID-19, all postal services continue to be severely affected, as airline connectivity to Malta is limited. This disruption is expected to continue until airlines resume normal operations with sufficient capacity. Delays in the processing and delivery of mail are also to be expected throughout the islands of Malta, with quality of service standards affected. Force Majeure is in place.
