Hey there!
I have sent an International Tracked parcel from my local to Australia, and to me it seems to be going on a strange journey.
here are details:
UK > Australia (Parcel contained a box of plastic toys and a booklet - I did check the ABF.gov.uk import prohibited goods list and my parcel seems to be 'a-okay')
Tuesday 10th November
02:59pm - Accepted at Post Office - California Post Office [RG40 3RD]
03:13pm - Sender preparing item
Wednesday 11th November
02:35am - Item Received by Royal Mail - Langley HWDC
05:32am - Item Leaving the UK - Langley HWDC
(then suddenly)
07:41pm - Item Despatched to Edinburgh MC - Swindon MC
I checked the Receiving Postal Service status update (as I can) which is Auspost.com.au which shows the Langley update as the last update.
This matches part of the journey but not the Edinburgh bit.
My questions:
I guess I'm confused because Langley isn't Swindon (so would there have been a transfer where it wasn't scanned between the two?)
Is my parcel on the way from Langley, or is it actually still in the UK going to Edinburgh? Do they post international parcels from Edinburgh?
