So about 2 days ago my package was meant to be delivered but i received this message instead
Can someone tell me what's going on?

That's a status that normally comes up when there is a Saturday retention in place. Though it's not exclusive to that, sometimes (especially during the current crisis) there isn't simply enough posties to deliver everything so they "roll" some items over and attempt delivery the next day. Keep an eye on the tracking hopefully you should get a will be attempting delivery today scan, today. If not then, if you can call the office and ask, politely, what happened (the person answering won't know and will need to investigate).
