Is this a legit Royal Mail return label I can print and use?

Post by JoeyBossJr »

Hello,

I was sent the wrong item from a seller on Amazon, requested a return and received a message saying:

"Attached is a free returns label, please return the product."

A file called RETURN ADDRESS.pdf was attached and looked exactly like below:

My question: Is this a legit returns label?

its got an HQ number and the font and layout look okay. SO whilst I can't say for certain it is, I think it is probably legit.

It's a bit late now, but that's a Printed Postage Impression (PPI) label. It should only be used on outgoing mail (i.e. from seller to their customers) and the seller pays for it via a sales order on Royal Mail's Online Business Account system. If the seller is giving these out to people to use as return labels, then the items are not paid for and should be surcharged at the receiving Mail Centre so that the seller has to pay to get the items delivered
