Hoping I’m posting this in the right section, I was expecting a package a couple of weeks ago from a retailer. I got an automated message and text saying I would receive it in a couple of days and so far have not gotten anything. Tracking says that it’s still at North West DC and has not changed since it has arrived there.
I found an old topic from 10 years ago that this DC is notorious for delays but eventually do arrive, could anyone confirm that this DC is just suffering delays due to COVID. Or is my package lost for good?

Any information on North West DC?
I am in the north west as well and I have been waiting over 10 days for 7 items/parcels that I have ordered,all of which where on 48hrs and all tracking information is not working.called the call centre and got told on the 10th of June the sender can claim as they are then marked as lost,I then asked can you check the tracking numbers and yes he can ??? They are in Warrington sorting office,been there for 9 days as they have staffing problems at Huyton sorting office,he advised that daily post will arrive letters ect,I then made him aware we have not received any post from Royal Mail and the only delivery’s I was getting on time was from dpd ect, I think that said it all Royal Mail has been well was in the history books as the pride of Britain WHAT HAS HAPPENED.
I have even got a parcel from hongkong quicker then Royal Mail can deliver from London

Any information on North West DC?
It is all a bit strange, I had to resort to Twitter and the staff manning that said that it seemed longer than necessary and wait till the 30th and will be classed as lost!
Coincidentally I received a package from Hong Kong within a couple of weeks but have waited over a month for a packet from Scotland to London!
Guessing we can only wait and see I’m afraid.
