I need some help regarding a package I sent to the USA from the U.K.
The tracking information is as follows

Now when I type the tracking info in it also leads me to the USPS site but the tracking info on there just says it’s been processed in Langley. Do you think it’s still in the UK or is it possible it’s arrived in the USA and hasn’t been scanned?
I’m concerned because I’ve sent parcels afterwards to America and they have all arrived in America and the tracking is updating yet this one isn’t and it’s an extremely valuable package.

its probably fallen prey to a random customs check either on entering the USA or leaving the UK, or caught up in a backlog of aircraft space. Being valuable it's probably more prone to a Customs check so that would be my guess.
* Some postal authorities will further delay delayed items if there is lack of space for onward transit, rather than delay new items - its fairly standard practice, unfortunately.

It’s got the proper address on the front and return address on the back do you think there is any possibility this item could get lost? I can’t see how it would as it’s got all the information it needs on I just don’t want it to be stranded and forgotten about. I know it’s a bad time for mail but as I say I posted something a few days ago and it told me on that tracking it landed in a USPS facility for that item so the confusion is to why it’s telling me this particular item has left Langley but hasn’t arrived in the US. Let’s just say that what I have sent is something that can’t really be replaced as it’s a piece of art.TrueBlueTerrier wrote:its probably fallen prey to a random customs check either on entering the USA or leaving the UK, or caught up in a backlog of aircraft space. Until the item clears customs, it isn't in the USA, even if it is physically sat on US soil. So if it is on the plane or in customs then the the above is true.C2019 wrote:... so the confusion is to why it’s telling me this particular item has left Langley but hasn’t arrived in the US.
