Hi new member here. This is not a complaint just a query. I am a customer and I use Ebay quite a bit. I am experiencing huge delays in postal deliveries and tracking info. The tracking does not update even when delivered. I assume the problem is due to the present climate Corona Virus. Recorded deliveries are not being received either. Is it me or is anybody else having these problems?
Just to reiterate I am not complaining, I just want advice. Thank you if I get replies.

There are a few issues at the minute as you can understand..My depot is getting deliveries out most days and at least every 2nd day. There probably is an issue regarding tracking also due to bag logs. My advice would be sit tight and I’m sure your parcels will arrive .

Just to add to the other reply, the customer is no longer required to sign for any delivery but it should be marked as delivered if it is recieved by the customer.gregsexton wrote:Hi new member here. Also Royal Mail make Special Delivery and Tracked items priority, Recorded Delivery are a bit further down the list i'm afraid.

Postal Delays
Delivery offices across the country are receiving 2-3 times the normal amount of parcels at the moment, it is busier now than during the peak Christmas pressure period. My office has roughly 1/6 staff missing due to Covid19. We’re trying, but the sheer volume of parcels is overwhelming. Add in this bank holiday weekend, with 2 days less delivery time, and the problem is going to get a lot worse. I know you’re not complaining, so please don’t think I’m being condescending in my reply, but the answers, so far, to your query haven’t really emphasised the scale of the deluge of parcels / staff shortages.
