In normal times, a day or two. With Covid-19, maybe a few days.

But do you actually mean, “how long do things take to get through customs”? They are based at Langley.

My courier just contain my original documents , don't know if they take too much time from custom clearance. I sent it by Pakistan post. Tracking showing they are at Langley since 3 days.

The actual contents don't matter. What customs do is pick a bath of mail and then check every item in it/ This can take some time if your item is at the back end of a batch, so whilst the checks may not take long when they get to your, the delay could be in the processing of other peoples items.

Royal Mail has no control over customs. Once it is released to Royal Mail then delivery, in normal times is 2 - 3 days - during this Endemic it will probably be a week or more, it all depends on how many posties are working and what is being prioritised.
