A week back I ordered BlackBerry 9900(without battery) from the UK to South Korea(Republic Of Korea).
tracking message hasn't changed from the 'Your item is now leaving the UK. More information will be available when it arrives in the destination country.'
even in KOREA POST, nothing is change.
I'm posting this message because I'm unsure if it's even left the UK.
but my parcel is 'Royal Mail Tracked and Signed', so i have a right to receive my parcel within 5-7 days.
So I want to listen to reason about this situation.

RM aims to have it there within 5-7 days. They could never guarantee that it would arrive within 5-7 as they've no say about what happens when it reaches South Korean Customsworldofdavid wrote:A week back I ordered BlackBerry 9900(without battery) from the UK to South Korea(Republic Of Korea).

1, We are not an official Royal Mail site so the replies are not to be taken as authoritative.
2, The item is showing as accepted by HWDC - this is the customs are for postal items leaving the UK.
3. There are unlikely to be any more scans until it passes customs both in the UK and South Korea.
4. There are probably delays in the Asia Pacific region because of cancelled flights and/or the impact of coronavirus.

Sending this without the battery is the right thing to do, because South Korea prohibits lithium batteries. However, we have seen in the past that items like this are often stopped for a thorough examination before being allowed to proceed, and that will increase the time that the parcel takes. See all the threads on here about watches.

The fact that its a phone, even without a battery, may cause them to send it for extra checks.
