Has anyone seen my parcel? 6 weeks and counting...

Post by Macblue4 »

I ordered an item from China to the U.K. which I was advised had been posted on the 5th Nov via China post with tracking number UT538379581CN.

The China Post site says the item arrived in LanLi on 21 Nov with no updates since. I’ve tried various tracking sites and on Parcel Monitor it says the item arrived at sorting centre Langley, Aiken County, South Carolina US on 21 Nov with no update since. So I don’t know if my parcel went to Langley USA instead of Langley U.K. or if this is an admin error.

I realise it’s the busiest time of the year but with much of the sorting now done automatically I am surprised that over 6 weeks later I am still waiting to hear when my delivery will be.

I contacted the seller who has advised me that the parcel has ‘reached its destination’ when I said it hadn’t reached me I was told to contact my ‘local courier’. I contacted Royal Mail who said it was with ParcelForce - I contacted ParcelForce who deny receiving the parcel.

Arghhhhh! Can anyone help? The parcel contains a perspex crafting storage container - no batteries/electronics etc

Many thanks

You need to make a claim from the sender. If that doesn’t work, ask your credit card provider for a charge back.
