Hi
I understand packages are often held or stuck at HWDC Langley. This has happened once before and it was eventually cleared.
This time my package left Hong Kong 10 days ago and there the tracking goes dead. It does not state "Recieved" by Royal mail or Langley any way shape of form. All I get is " package left destination 10 days ago" Its in the Royal Mail system but there is no update. It is small under 250g. This has never happened before.
Can assume this is lost or do customs process the order before HWDC Langley receive it?

Most postal services don't scan parcels into the receiving country. No customs service scans parcels. Royal Mail won't scan it until they receive it, which is after customs have cleared it. 10 days in customs is not that unusual.
So no, probably not lost. You are just expecting too much of the tracking system.

Oh. On previous occations. I have had parcels held at LANGLEY HWDC but the tracking details have always said. Item received HWDC first.
