I'm gonna cry for me if my passport gets lost from Argentina

Post by jmz »

Hi,

I'm getting a bit worried about my passport application where I sent my old Passport to the UK from Argentina.

If I look on the "Correo Argentina" website I can see this tracking:-
05-09-2018 03:23 CTP CPI-BUENOS AIRES SALIDA DEL PAÍS
04-09-2018 23:13 CTP CPI-BUENOS AIRES LLEGADA AL CENTRO DE PROCESAMIENTO
30-08-2018 22:12 CTP CORDOBA EN PROCESO DE CLASIFICACIÓN
30-08-2018 19:54 CTP CORDOBA LLEGADA AL CENTRO DE PROCESAMIENTO
29-08-2018 12:46 ??????????????-CDD AUT EN PROCESO DE CLASIFICACIÓN
28-08-2018 16:58 ??????????????-CDD AUT INGRESO AL CORREO
If you don't know Spanish it ends with 03:23 ON 5th September - "Exit from Country"

Now if I look at Royal Mail's tracking:-
Updated on: Wednesday 05 September
07:23am
Item Leaving overseas
Argentina

In Transit
Tracking no. RR?????????AR
This item is now leaving the originating country. More information will be available when it arrives in the UK.
The 07:23am UK time corresponds exactly to 03:23 Argentine time.

So my question is assuming my package is not on a flight that has circumvented the globe several times for several days, refuelling various times along the way - is there any way of knowing in which country my package is?

Thanks
