Ordered an item from China that uses one of these weird delivery methods but uses Royal Mail for the final leg (IE when it hits their last distribution centre they hand it over to Royal Mail)

My item was put on "Tracked 48" it got handed over to the South West RDC at 0838 yesterday, Got to Manchester Mail Centre at 0420 this morning and is at my local delivery office ready for delivery. Even gives me an ETA "We normally expect to deliver your items to your address between 9:38am - 1:38pm"

I know I should direct this to an official Royal Mail channel (Twitter) but they once argued with me about an international standard letter having a barcode even though I provided a screenshot, so I thought I'd say thank you to the guys who made it all happen!

The four hour delivery window you mentioned is a trial that is taking place at the moment on Tracked items. It doesn't actually mean anything to the customer yet and the item isn't guaranteed or necessarily likely to be delivered within those four hours.
