My mum helped me ordered a plush toy and it had ended up at Newtown Delivery Office, Wales.

And I live in Coatbridge, Scotland, which is almost 300 miles away.

The buyer protection expires in nine days.

Tracking sites insist it's been delivered to me, does that mean it's on it's way?

No, now we have the code we can look on the public tracking, and there is no indication that this item has been delivered incorrectly.

The main possibilities in this case are:

1. The sender put the wrong address on the item.
2. The sender gave you the incorrect tracking code
3. Hopefully, the least likely scenario is that you have been scammed either by deliberately giving you (and others) a legit, but incorrect tracking code and the item will turn up eventually, or, they have scammed you and nothing will be delivered.

My advice get back in touch with the sender ASAP and suggest 1 or 2 happened before getting heavy with no 3.

Mum entered the correct address, and I think it's waiting to be sent from Newtown because it landed in Heathrow, they usually send the mail on weekdays.

There is absolutely no reason why an item going to Scotland would be held at a Delivery Office in Wales.

If it was being held before delivery it would be in a Mail Centre, they are magnitudes larger than a typical delivery office.

Also, your mum entering the correct address doesn't mean that the sender did. :hmmmm

No, it either means that it has reached the address on the parcel or that it is in the Delivery Office waiting for customs charges to be paid. Items worth more than 18 £ and coming from outside the EU will incur customs charges.

You can infer from the above, and from the tracking information, that the parcel does not have your address on it.
