Received text message stating item 'Out for delivery', but no parcel has showed up

Hey everyone,

I've just purchased an item from a seller who has sent it to me via ParcelForce 24. He sent it last Thursday, and it was finally sent out for delivery today. Unfortunately, I haven't received it, and I'm starting to get worried, as it's an expensive item. Is this a common occurrence?

I've already contacted them, via Twitter, but just wondered, out of interest, whether this a common thing, as it's happened before. Unless ParcelForce 24 stands for 24 days, not hours? :chuckle

It's a pretty reliable service. But if you bought from an EU based seller then all the risk is on them, in fact you probably already have a case to claim for late delivery (claim from the seller).
