Got charged parcel rate to send 2 disc's (no boxes) to USA. They would normally fit the large letter category but the PO server said only printed paper was being accepted as large letter to USA. Anything other than paper would have to go as a parcel.
Is this correct? She made out it was specific to the USA.

Turns out she was wrong. Post Office refunded me with a book of stamps. The Post Office branch in question has now updated their info.
