Hi,
I have recently moved this year away from Essex to Sussex and ordered something for my daughter, paid by PayPal, all good...until I realised that I haven't changed my address on paypal for delivery! I contacted sender to advise that it may well be sent back to them but they said that there is no return address on it. Great I thought. I have used the tracking number to track online and it states addressee has gone away, return to sender.
I thought I could use tracking number, go online and just have it delivered to our old next door neighbour to hold until we next in the area. Completed the online form and received an email as confirmation. Spoke to my neighbour earlier and it hasn't been delivered and when I track it just says returned to romford to be returned to sender. Any help would be appreciated...as I have tried to contact Romford branch but was on hold for ages, then the office shut.

If there is no return address it will be sent to a specific department who will investigate it.
Your best course of action is I am afraid to call Royal Mail Customer Services and explain the problem. They will enter all details on a database and hopefully when they connect the parcel with the query they will forward it on to your new address. (Though no guarantees)
However, this does take some time so its unlikely you will receive it even before the new year.

Thank you so much for taking the time to reply. I don't mind how long it takes to be honest. I just hate the thought that I could potentially lose money now!
