Hi,
Appreciate that this is not customer complaints but any help with information on this would be appreciated... We're sending items out to various European destinations from Latvia to France and Spain but we're noticing a real slow down in items being delivered 2-3 weeks later than normal and with most of these being eBay items we're hitting issues with expected timeframes.
To give an example we had one package sent out on 27th May arriving last week in Norway.
Does anyone know if there's currently issues, bottlenecks of similar that are slowing things down for UK post going into these countries?
Trying to understand if the issue is more local or due to something like industrial action, etc...

Any delays for post to Europe?
On this website, there seems to have been an increase in complaints of slow outbound mail over the last 6-9 months. When we see tracking info, it usually seems to be the overseas customs service that is the bottleneck. We have had several complaints about Norway, for instance. UK customs also slowed down a lot from about a year ago, IMHO the various customs services are struggling with tighter rules but some have not received additional budgets to help them cope.

Nothing specific except there are Industrial tensions in France at the moment with disputes about changes to workers rights, stuff may just be caught up in the chaos.
But Royal Mail posted something on this yesterday but don't give any details.
