I live in Australia and received a parcel from someone in the UK; they posted it from whatever branch is associated with BR193647. Is anyone able to tell me what branch this is? The parcel was a present and I need to know who to thank!

What branch is BR193647?
193 647 may be a branch FAD code, which is the branch identification system - I assume that you have got this from the postage label (the substitute stamp). This used to be considered secret but I'm not sure if it is now. You could try calling Post Office customer services on +44 3457 22 33 44.

It could also be a franking machine number, and if it is there is no way to trace it.
