Still at Heathrow dc customs or on its way????

I ordered something from france which was sent on the 25th feb and i only recieved vague updated info on tracking on the 4th March stating arrived in uk then 3 hrs later another update stating on its way to ipswich mail centre. does that mean its left heathrow and on its way or still there? because i am still to recieve my parcel/small packet to the value of 12 euro.

royal mail normal site gives me nothing the trackdetails site tells me what i already know, can someone advise me as to wether its left heathrow dc on its way to ipswich or its still there awaiting pick up this should have arrived in 3-4 days from payment of item its now been 13-14days thanks in advance

Until its scanned at Ipswich we cannot say for sure it has left Heathrow. However, it does look like its certainly planned to do so.

Ok thanks for your reply. well i will have to wait and see it is now the 8th and still no change on the tracking or has it been delivered , i read tht it gets scanned on arrival then scanned a second time when it leaves for mail centre ?? so i dont know if its actually even left there yet.

has anyone else had similar tracking info and know wether its left or still being held i thought if still at customs it would not have been scanned saying on its way to ipswich???

Its does appear to have become stuck somewhere between London and Ipswich - but it won't be customs as it has cleared there already.

I would suggest contacting Royal Mail by twitter DM, @RoyalMail they have an audit tracking system I think if so they'll be able to get more details - good luck.

Ok thank you if not recieved by tomorrow i will phone them , I did actually twitter royal mail yesterday but they said they cant help and that the next tracking update may be on attempted delivery? so it looks to be just be a waiting game, the parcel was sent from france poste expres which i assume is express delivery, its just odd that tracking info trail went cold from heathrow :(

finally arrived all be it at the wrong address i filled in billing info and gave a seperate address for shipping and it was sent to billing address instead of the shipping address so it was sat there for the 3 days whilst i was hounding royal mail on twitter and bugging out on the forum, this was not royal mails fault but the company who shipped the item. why have a form which gives you that option only to send it to the wrong address anyway

still happy to have recieved it finally, thanks to those who replied on the forum
