Just a quick question, I sent off an item on 8/2/2016. It was sent using the special delivery guaranteed service.

Its been like this for a few days now I contacted the receiver and he still hasn't received anything. Could anyone explain what's going on and what can I do ?

That would suggest delivery has been attempted but failed, the Greenford one is when it arrives back at the Mail Centre.
There are many reasons why a delivery fails, the main one usually is that it was refused at the address. I would, double check the address you have AND contact Royal Mail on Monday to see if they get any more information through official channels.
