How to know where my package is?

hi everyone
I am expecting a package from UK that is posted on 29.12.2015 and is about a month and the it hasn't arrived. in my post office in Posta Shqiptare they say that the item have not entered in albania. My tracking number RU741906836GB. in royal mail it says only on it's way

Its possible its been delayed in Customs but I would get the person who sent it to you to contact an official Royal Mail contact point.

Albanian. There is usually a gap of no tracking from one postal company to another, and that tends to mean it's with the receiving country's Customs. (not always, though).

i asked the post office about the customs and they told me the item has not entered in albania and if the item is in the customs they always inform by SMS and postcard the receiver that the item has arrived and if there is any fee to be payed or if the item will be at the post office.

Well, i am expecting a very important letter that was send on 23 december, left the country on 29 and after almost a month the letter is at HWDC and nobody knows when i will get my letter. Nice, right?:))

I was talking about Royal Mail, i know this is non oficial forum that is made to help people like me. I am not blaming anybody from this forum. I spoke yesterday with somebody from RM, they don't have a f***ing clue about my letter, i don't think they have a f***ing clue about anything.

Hi I have a parcel that arrived in the UK on the 21st into Heathrow worldwide distribution center, it was sent to ilc mail center on that day and it hasn't moved or updated since, it just says on its way to ilc mail center Heathrow, it is the 27th now and still nothing, can anyone bring any light to my situation I would appreciate it thanks.....

A little light googling shows that ILC is an annex to HWDC. And, as many threads in this forum testify, HWDC is UK customs and items are routinely taking a couple of weeks to clear.

I am a bit puzzled because you keep stating that you are in Ireland: do you mean Northern Ireland or the Republic of Ireland? Because the parcel you are asking about is going from Pakistan to the UK, but if you are in Northern Ireland it doesn't seem worth mentioning that repeatedly in this context.

BTW please don't ask the same question repeatedly across multiple threads. We will get round to you. Everybody on here does this in their own time.

What I meant was that you posted the same question in the threads "Delivery questions", "Package stuck since 8 days" and this one, which is poor etiquette.

The problem with your package is that the Pakistan post office seem to have put it on the wrong plane, i.e it went on a plane destined for the UK when it should have gone on a plane for the Republic of Ireland (posties: please advise if I am wrong, and Pakistan - Eire mail goes via the UK). If it's a simple case of the wrong plane then UK customs or Royal Mail will eventually realise and put it on a plane to Ireland.

There are two possible complications with this. One is that there are very long queues to enter UK customs at the moment, so it could stay stored in a container for a couple of weeks until Her Majesty's Revenue & Customs get round to it. The other is that the address might be ambiguous: lots of people get mixed up between the nations of the British Isles, it might not be addressed clearly enough.
