hi,
i am awaiting a shipment coming from uk to germany and i am wondering what is going on there and if this is normal or not.
since 14/01/16 the tracking status says "ON ITS WAY TOGLS GERMANY" and "has been passed to the overseas postal service for delivery in GERMANY"
(usually packages arrive one day after that status)
so 8 days have passed since then and nothing happened. it is still not in the system of gls yet.
so what do you think?
is it lost?
is it being delayed by customs? (normally it should not go through customs at all within the eu or does it?)
what kind of problem could this be?

i am highly worried because this shipment is important and contains irreplacable, personal items :(

no there is no battery in there....
today is day 9 an nothing changed yet.
royal mail customer sevice wont tell me anything either...
its horrible.

On my smart phone so can't post links but do a search for GLS tracking something should appear on there eventually

have they accidentally packed it on a flight to a wrong country or something?

Hi I have a parcel that arrived into Heathrow worldwide distribution center on the 21st on the same day it left there and updated saying on its way to ilc mail center Heathrow, it hasn't updated since that's seven days , can anyone bring any light to my situation on where it might be, I am in Ireland, I would appreciate it thanks.....

mine is now stuck since 14 days!
but i have still hope.
i found a case where someone from greece had a package stuck for 3 weeks and then the status finally updated and it was delivered one day later.
as far as i know royal mail often sorts packages wrong or fails to get them out of the container and then they travel to a different country and it takes weeks until they finally manage to get it back to the right country.
anyway... i wish you the best in receiving your package soon.

I have the same problem if you will look into my thread.
My package is stuck in DC Heathrow (Arrived) on 21 - Jan. And it is a misplaced package, the destination is GREECE, and they sorted out it to GB and not GR!
