International tracked and signed to Canada delayed at Heathrow

Hi all,

A very happy and prosperous new year to all. I have a query regarding the delay of a parcel carrying documentation to Canada from Royalmail.
When I try to track this item, I am getting following details:-

Date Time Status Track point
30/12/15 00:01 ARRIVED (MDN) AT HEATHROW WORLDWIDE DC
28/12/15 14:47 SENT AT POST OFFICE Tesco Stores Ltd SS13 3JU

No message update since 30/12/15.

Is this normal or should I contact royal mail regarding this issue.
Any help will be appreciated.

My tracking number for this parcel is RN223362330GB.

Does the item have the return address on the front? Canadian customs seem to reject any items that don't have it on the front. Based on the timing, it's probably just a case of running out of room on the flights to Canada + the Xmas and New Years holidays

Yes, very true. I tried to contact royal mail on twitter and they really do not know where my parcel is. They said my parcel might have left UK with standard delivery rather than tracked and signed. They are not sure where my parcel is at the moment and asked me to wait till 02/02/16 and after that my parcel will be considered lost and i can claim compensation. I really do not need any compensation, i need my parcel carrying very important experience letter of my friend. I just do not know what to do. I am very disappointed with their service.

Any help from seniors will be appreciated, like whom to contact now any phone number or e-mail address.
