Help with parcel tracking please

Hello hope someone can help
I posted a parcel tracked to spain and the following is the tracking info i could really do with some help as it seems to have been sent to Spain then says its at Edinburgh....

18/12/15 01:42 ARRIVED ATEDINBURGH MAIL CENTRE EDINBURGH MAIL CENTRE
16/12/15 AM ON ITS WAY TOBARAJAS SPAIN SPAIN AND CANARY ISLANDS
16/12/15 03:01 ARRIVED (MDN) AT HEATHROW WORLDWIDE DC

do you have a tracking number and if so have you tried it on the Correos tracking site http://www.correos.es/ss/Satellite/site ... ioma=en_GB" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; its worth checking the GLS one as well as they deliver in Spain for RM as well https://gls-group.eu/EU/en/parcel-tracking" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Thanks i just checked them both and nothing? it may be a normal thing just seemed strange that its says Edinburgh after saying on its was to Spain or am i worrying for nothing?

can you post the tracking number we may be able to decipher whats happening.

I will be frank, It makes no sense at all unless it was misrouted, or for some reason they are routing it through Edinburgh Airport for some reason.

However, in either case it would have shown some movement to that effect by now.

If able I would use twitter to contact royal mail around 8am tomorrow they can get more details on their internal audit system and may be able to assist. Sorry we couldn't
