Hi there
I'm wonder can someone help me I posted a tube parcel from Ealing Broadway post office on the 8/12/2015 going to Paris France and the tracking number is LB265688805GB, it was ment to be there 3 days ago but all it says on the
tracking details online is that it was handed in at Ealing Broadway, i was told that it hasn't even left the country by the customer service person the service person could tell me the depot it might be in no information at all,
it looks to me like the parcel hasn't even left the post office because if it had it would have come up as check at heathrow or where ever but it hasn't,
can someone tell me if theres a depot that i can go to get my parcel back? the service was just a tracking service not signed for, for me theres no point really in filling out claims forms as the Item is irreplaceable.
hope someone can help

Re: lost parcel no tracking info from post office
It's against the law to hand the item back to you, even if we could positively identify where it is. There is a very small chance that it is still in the Post Office, but it is much more likely that there has been a failure of the track and trace system. About 3 years ago there was a very common issue with the track and trace failing and exactly this result being returned: the fault is less common now, but we still see a trickle of such issues on this site. Royal Mail do not like to admit to this. The service you used has no maximum delivery time and it's really unlikely to arrive in 3 days at this time of year. So the good news is that it probably isn't lost but you can also claim a refund for the postage because you didn't get the tracking you paid for.
