Hi everyone. Hope you're having a good weekend.
I have a bit of a conundrum I'm trying to figure out. I ordered some items online and was sent a package from Hong Kong. The tracking number is LK603096809HK. It tracked it into the UK and it then went to mail centre in Rochester and was apparently delivered yesterday. I found this odd, as I am in Manchester and the package should be coming to me. Yesterday evening I received an email from the sender. He said he had received a message from the courier company that the postal code did not exist in the UK and the package was being returned to sender. I replied and am awaiting further communication with him. I spoke to customer services this morning. They told according to their system the package had indeed been delivered. Had it been sent to non-existent post code, they said it would show on the system.
I'm trying to figure out what has happened. Has the package been delivered an incorrect address or is it being returned to sender? Who has informed the sender that the post code was incorrect? The customer service advisor could find no trace of any such message. Could the sender be using an alternative courier service? I am desperate to get hold of the package as soon as and maybe somehow stop it from being sent back to the sender. The big concern for me is has it been actually delivered to some address in the Rochester area. Could it be that the person who receives it has taken it back to the post office and reported it was not theirs?
Any comments would be greatly appreciated.
Kind regards to all

Sorry guys need to clarify that I had spoken to a Royal Mail customer services advisor. I also contacted Parcel force and was thinking of the package had not gone thru them.

Contact the seller and ask them to double check that they've given you the correct tracking number

Re: International tracked item not delivered
Assuming you have told the seller your full, accurate address I would suspect the seller is telling you a load of BS. Maybe the barcode is for a item he has actually sent and then he tells it to several customers once he has their money. If you used PayPal/eBay make sure you kick up a fuss. Make sure you get your money back
