Internation Track and Signed sent to wrong country

Good morning , i'm writing as a receiver.

Basically my friend sent me a parcel from Uk to Italy with service International Tracked and Signed for , the address put on the envelope and also on the receipt are 100% correct , but once he post it happened a strange thing , cause the parcel went to Germany so the wrong country.

Actually my tracking is not updating since the 4th of September and sincerly i don't know what i've to think and if i ever get my parcel or consider it lost somewhere....

This is the log of the trackig :

Can i do something or contact anyone ?

It's correct, GLS have their central sorting hub in Germany which all parcels they handle from the UK go through

So it's normal that pass from Germany to Italy ?
Cause the other parcel i've got from Uk before comes directly to Italy , in around a week and i've never seen from the tracking that they go to Germany.

Is it a new routing way so ?

In any case hope to get soon my parcel so finger crossed for me :)
